| | | Although we offer extraordinary products and exemplary customer service, problems and confusion do arise. To cover a few of those possibilities, we need to let you know that:
1. Sizes shown are approximate. Very few of the items in our gallery were made to exact "standard sizes" (they are from antiques, after all). This means that you will probably not be able to use "standard size" frames. Almost everything in our gallery will require custom framing. That is why we offer very affordable, expert custom framing of everything we sell.
2. We are only human. That means we will make mistakes, from time to time. As we are placing thousand of items in our gallery, we might type in the wrong price, size, or other information. We reserve the right to correct mistakes, even after you find them. Thanks for understanding.
3. Everything we sell is a replica of an authentic antique work. While they may look as good, or better, than the originals, they are reproduction maps, prints, and photographs. If you are looking for an original, please let us know and we will see what we can find. We also invite you to visit PastPresent® Gallery for a wide selection of authentic antique maps and prints.
4. We have probably forgotten to disclaim something, but we will do our best to correct any problems and avoid misunderstandings.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Unframed pieces are printed on 100% rag, fine art paper. Framed pieces are printed on canvas.
All sizes are approximate. Because they are taken from authentic antiques, very few pieces are exact "standard sizes" and will, generally, require custom framing (which we offer at very reasonable prices - see below).
Due to the INCREDIBLY high shipping prices charged for OVERSIZE shipping, shipping charges may be higher than quoted for items that measure more than a total of 70" (matted height + width). For example a matted piece measuring 32" x 40" would be considered OVERSIZE (72"). For complete delivery information, see Information page.
PastView™ Gallery antique map, print, & photo replicas are scanned or photographed at the highest resolution on fine-art reproduction equipment. Meticulously color matched and digitally restored (if needed), we print each piece on state-of-the-art, 8-color, fine-art, giclee printers using the latest, long-life, archival inks. We use the finest quality, mould-made, fine art, 100% rag paper.
You can also order your old map, print, or view custom framed and ready to hang in a beautiful classic moulding in 4 finishes that will complement any decor. We use only the highest-quality, wood frames from Larson-Juhl. Every framed work is hand-crafted from the finest materials to last a lifetime (or longer).
Our old map, print, or photograph reproductions are works of art, at the most affordable prices possible. Each is comparable to (or better than) similar pieces that sell for far more. In fact, most of the cheaper antique replicas you will find are printed on cheap paper, with less attention to detail and quality. We are so confident that you will be thrilled with your purchase that we guarantee your complete satisfaction for a full 30 days (see Our Guarantee for details).
